History Web Booklet
This is intended to be an art history document to be used on the
Internet. The unique feature of this is that there are web links to
the artists' work that are in the collection of the Detroit Institute
of Arts.
The method is to give the name of the artist, a few written facts, and
then a link to the photo of the artist's work at the DIA, and then a
link to Wikipedia's article on the artist. The Wikipedia link will
lead to more information about the artist, plus photos of many of his
or her works of art.
If you are unfamiliar with using links, just use the mouse to click on
the info with the blue underlines. There is a section towards the end
of the document which includes prominent artists whose work is not
included in the DIA collection, with a Wikipedia link. This should
make it more inclusive as an art history document.
